The Digi XBee SX 900 moduleis a long range 900 MHz RF moduleexclusively for use in the North American market or in other regions of the world where the use of the 900 MHz frequency band is authorized (Brazil, Australia / NZ).
The use of this module is prohibited inside Europe
The 900 SX module is available in a low consumption 20 mW version and a long range 1-Watt version, It can run either the proprietary DigiMesh network protocol (mesh), or a point-to-point, or point-to-multipoint (star) network protocol.
It uses GFSK modulation and FHSS frequency hopping mode
Also, interference will be greatly reduced by using an integrated SAW filter.
This module is only available in "Surface Mount" SMT form factor
