Le module Advantech ROM-6881 SMARC 2.1 est alimenté par un SoC Rockchip RK3588 qui comprend des processeurs Quad Arm Cortex-A76 et Quad Cortex-A55, un NPU 6Tops NPU et un moteur graphique 3D Arm Mali-G610 haute performance. Le ROM-6881 prend en charge le décodage vidéo H.265/VP9 8K @ 60 fps et l'encodage vidéo H.265/H.264 8K @ 30 fps.
Il offre également une interface d'affichage riche avec HDMI, DP et LVDS/DSI à deux canaux pour répondre à différentes exigences.
